About the author
Shami Sethi gave up eating meat more than thirty years ago, the beginning of a long journey towards kindness, compassion and a more conscious way of living. Years later a video on the realities of dairy farming widened that compassion, and he embraced veganism.
In November 2016 he founded Rare Earth Organics, India's first all-vegan store. In 2018 it grew into Rare Earth Café, a space for wholesome plant-based food, wellness and community. Through his writing and his work at Rare Earth, Shami hopes to inspire a more compassionate world for animals, people, plants and the planet.
